Geocache Description:

This is the 2nd of 8 caches that we have put along the Lansing River Walk Trail. These caches are intended to be done by hiking or bicycling but can be done as park and grabs also.

Teresa has gotten into bicycling and has decided to do a series of bicycling caches from the Turner Dodge House thru Potters Park to East Lansing. This cache is placed within 15 ft of a paved trail and is in a plastic decon container. The container is filled with kid stuff to make it interesting for the younger cachers. This cache is a easy find but we based the rating on being a bicycling / hiking cache. This series of caches are placed along a paved / boardwalked trail and is suitable for even the young hiker / bicyclers for parts or even all of the trail. Remember to use stealth on all of theses caches as they are place in highly active areas. There is parking near the cache for those not into the hiking / bicycling thing. If you do all the series of caches 1 thru 8 it will be a 5 mile trip 1 way along the trail. Rating is based on being a bicycle caches.
