GENERAL INFO:
Each of 6 projected waypoints is a camoed 35mm canister, hidden
at the base of a tree, covered with a stone. Each contains
directions AND one part of the final coordinates. Each projection
takes you near a cluster of trees. Projection coordinates are NOT
ACCURATE. This is by design. Examine nearby trees for a reflective
sticker. These are in plain view, about 20 ft high.
For safety do not geocache alone at night. Groups with a minimum
of two adults are recommended. Some waypoints are off the pathways,
but no bushwhacking is necessary. Be aware that some STEALTH may be
necessary for parts of the course, especially if done in daylight.
(PLEASE take an extra moment to RE-HIDE each waypoint carefully or
it will be easily muggled in daylight, or dug up by squirrels.)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Published coordinates are for starting point which is large rock
at centre of parking lot.
From there project 300m at bearing 200 degrees. (This is where
the flashlight search kicks in. One of the nearby trees (it may be
quite a few metres away) will have a RED reflective sticker. The
sticker identifies the ‘waypoint tree’ where the canister is
hidden.)
From each waypoint, project to next point until cache is
reached. Final cache is at N44 12.ABC W076 31.DEF
