The cache is placed in Senryuji in Komae-shi with a permission. Please pay atmost respect when searching for the cache. This is a memorial cache for our father.
Senryuji is easily accessable from Komae station on odakyu Line. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the station. The cahe is hidden in the Bentenzai ike section of Senryuuji. Please hide the cache as you found it.
The cache originally contains TB, Geocoins and 4 US quarters with 4 different state designs.
According to their website (www.senryuji.or.jp), the history states that Rouben established a temple in 765 when he prayed for a rain. Dragon appeared and brought the rain to ease the draught. The temple was reborn as a zen temple about 400 years ago when Senshuku rediscovered this pond. The name Senryuji was also based on this history.
Due to the development, Benzaiten ike dried up 1972. The pond was designated as the first historic site in 1973.
Cattledogs used to play in the stream. Although it changed, the pond holds beautiful spring water and provides home for koi fish and ducks.

サイトによると、「良弁僧正が765年この池において雨を祈った所、竜神が現れて雨を降らせたということです。泉龍寺が禅寺となって再出発することになったのも、今から400年余り前、戦国時代の頃泉祝和尚という禅僧が旅の途中、この見事な泉を見つけたのがきっかけでした。泉龍寺という寺名も、この泉にちなんだものです。」
「弁財天池が初めて乾きあがったのは昭和42年（1967年）3月でした。市内での地下水汲み上げ量が増えた結果でしょう。その後、湧き出したり枯渇したりを繰り返し、ついに昭和47年（1972年）11月を最後に、大雨の際ほんの一時以外は湧き水が途絶えました。翌昭和48年（1973年）3月になって弁財天池が狛江市史跡第一号に指定され、復元工事が行われました。微量の水補給で、景観の保全と万一の災害に備えての貯水を確保しているのです。」
Cattledogsも昔この清水でよく遊びました。姿はずいぶん変わっていますが、すんだ清水の池には鯉やアヒルがくらしています。
