Notre patron de la vallée mènera une vie d’ermite très austère, son ermitage (petite cabane) sera abandonné au profit d’une pierre creusée dans laquelle il vivra 13 ans et ou il accomplira de nombreux miracles auprès des gens qui lui rendaient visite et jusqu'à sa mort. Comme l’ermite, allez goûter à la sérénité du lieu de son ermitage qui accueille une petite chapelle, et... la cache. Il y a également une ciste à quelques dizaines de mètres de la cache, ne vous trompez pas !
Vous rencontrerez au cours de cette quête : une abbatiale, une église, une chapelle, un ermitage mais aussi 2 lavoirs remarquables et 4 belles fontaines. La place du village a servi de sujet à nombre d’artistes peintres.
Le nom du village ou vous vous rendrez est celui de l’ermite : N : 42°58 894

Dans un premier temps trouvez le sarcophage en marbre noir ou gît l’ermite avec ses reliques puis à une 30éne de mètres de là, direction Sud, vous trouverez sa statuette surplombant une fontaine ou vous pourrez remplir vos gourdes en prévision de votre petit pèlerinage : notez les 2 derniers chiffres de la date inscrite =a sur celle ci.
Vers le Sud S/Est il existe dans le village une fontaine portant son nom, discrète, notez le dernier chiffre de la date inscrite sur cette fontaine : b continuez toujours dans la même direction pour trouver une chapelle ou vous noterez le nombre de barreaux sur la porte principale : c
Les « Ets boupats » protégent le Chrisme de l’ermitage dans leur Eglise « Saint Laurent », rejoignez leur village et trouvez le lavoir près de la fontaine ; notez le chiffre des dizaines d et celui des unités e de la date inscrite sur la fontaine.
Calculez enfin les coordonnées de la cache finale.

Marche de 220m à 440m de dénivelé positif suivant l’utilisation de la voiture ou pas. Soit 40mn à 1 h10 de marche jusqu'à la cache sans compter la recherche. Mais possibilité de faire la cache avec 100m de dénivelé et 15mn à pied si vous êtes un « boupats ! »

First, find the black marble sarcophagus where the hermit lies with his relics. Then, about 30 metres from there south, you will find his statue overlooking a fountain where you can fill your flasks in preparation for your little pilgrimage: note the last 2 digits of the date = a on it.
