Take the Louwsberg road from Vryheid. Just after Coronation there is a sign that says Bivane dam. This is the only way to get to the dam as yet.
Bivane dam is an awesome but little known gem in the northern KZN region. With campsites either by the dam or in the bush bring a boat and fishing rods. Plenty to do or not do, your choice. There are some amazing chalets with great views over the dam. Or bring a tent and camp in the bush. You might want to make this a day trip or even stay over as it is well worth it.
When driving from the office back to the main gate take the Bush Camps road to the left. Follow this to the braai area at the end park there and search for the cache. You have to walk back up the road a bit to get closer. Enjoy the cache and while you are there do the other cache in the park too.
This cache was unfortunately muggled and has been replaced by adysally at a new position. I am very surprised that this one went missing but this is a funny game and we have to expect these things.
