this is a trash out hike if you wont to help me keep it clean .some campers are real pigs. an it tics me off how thay leave there mess behind
when you get to the parking lot go right or north just follow the tracks to the low trail at
35 32.590 n , o80 11.815w , look for trail head marked with big blue rock on the right follow trail north ward till you get to the base camp of the mnt at
35 32.704n , o80 11.844w . at this point you will see a shear cliff in front of you yea its a real wow factor.but we ant climbing that part to day lol.welcome to my playground. your going around to the left side of it an hike up the back side of it. any how to get up to your treasur box welp ,you shood be standing by a big bolder in the camp right on the trail ,you need to point north on the trail an take 53 paces down the trail past the camp, look to your right . this plase is called the boldering path some call it hell.ok this is where it gets tuff no more trails except for what the rock climbers leave.find your best path of climb an start boldering your way to the top of the mnt.its nothard or to bad but you must wach your step an be shure you got on good shoes for grip an confort for safe climbing.if you kick any rocks to rolling be shure to yell out ROCK !so your frend behind you can get out of the way.be shure you got a day pack with food an water an any other compforts from home you feel you need. an let peaple know where your going incase you have a probleman dont come home on time.
on your way up when you get to about the 700ft mark on your gps you can go to 35 32.732n , o80 11.827w to the repellers ledge for the coolist veiw of the yadkin river there is .this is where all the climbers an repellers an lovers meet to play .you can take a break there an look for the eagles that might be near by . reast up for the rest of your climb it gets a lot easyer at this point.just keep going up till you find the camp site on the top of the mnt.you might be able to find some small foot trails here leading the way to the camp site. an take a break . now you can go looking for treasure.good luck. be shure to bring your micros an treasur boxes of your own. there are a lot of cool plases on down the low trail heading north along the old rock quary to hide stuff
((( ok for you older fokes who arnt up to a bolder climb ,as you come down the tracks look to your right for a grown up truck trail.wach your toepoe on your gps as you come up to the base of the mnt, hang a right on the right side of the mnt at the base line ,and go for a hike though the woods up the right side, you might find the old trail or not dont matter, just head up the back side of the mnt on the right side .its a more gental slope an no boldering needed ,just a up hill walk .and the woods arnt that bad .just gps nav skills needed . its not hard to find your own way on this side of the mnt. have fun on your adventure..)
