A minha 7ª cache (3ª multicache)!
NOTA: Esta cache era para ser composta por 3 caches e começar na
vizinha praia de S. Rafael. Recomendo, por isso, que comecem pela
cache "S. Rafael" do Team Hulkman e que depois acedam à minha
pedonalmente, ou vice versa. Era essa a minha ideia original:
levar-vos a dar um pequeno passeio entre estas duas praias
vizinhas. Deixo-vos, no entanto, com o texto original:
Esta cache irá leva-los a conhecer duas belíssimas praias do
concelho de Albufeira (para mim são das mais belas do país) e a dar
um pequeno passeio pedestre entre elas.
Começamos pela praia de S. Rafael, a maior e mais conhecida das
duas. De areal amplo e flanqueada por arribas calcárias de tons
quentes, nesta praia podem-se observar uma grande diversidade de
curiosas formações rochosas provocadas pela acção da erosão: arcos,
sapas (cavidades escavadas na base das arribas), algares (poços
naturais) e leixões (formações rochosas isoladas).
Nas arribas surgem manchas de pinheiro e enormes aroeiras suspensas
sobre o topo ravinado. Já no areal dominam as salgadeiras, plantas
que exsudam o excesso de sal, sendo possivel, logo pela manhã,
observar pequenos cristais de sal nas suas folhas.
A praia de Arrifes, mais para o lado de Albufeira, é muito mais
pequena e recatada mas, para mim, a mais bela das duas.
Também apresenta uma grande diversidade de formações rochosas,
sendo que claramente se destacam 3 enormes e belos leixões no mar
em frente à praia, que oferecem a ilusão de se estar a tomar banho
numa imponente piscina rochosa. Algumas plantas resistentes ao
ambiente marinho, como a barrilha e o funcho-do-mar, conseguem
colonizar os leixões, situando-se, contudo, fora do alcance das
marés.
A cache:
Esta multicache é composta por 2 caches distribuidas na praia de
Arrifes e sua envolvente.
As primeira é uma micro. A cache final é um tupperware regular
quadrangular transparente, igualmente envolto num saco de plástico
preto. Devido aos locais onde se encontram inseridas terem
bastantes cavidades e recantos, poderam sentir alguma dificuldade
em encontrar as caches. Em caso de maré cheia muito acentuada ou
mar agitado também poderá ser dificil aceder ao local da cache
final.

My 7th cache (3rd multicache)!
NOTE: This cache was meant to be made of 3 caches and to start
in the near beach of S. Rafael. I recomend you to start searching
"S. Rafael"'s cache and then go to mine by foot, or vice-versa.
That was my original idea: to take you for a walk bettween this two
neighbor beachs. I left, however, with the original
text:
This cache will take you to meet two beautiful beachs of
Albufeira municipality(for me, they are two of the most beautiful
of the country) and have a short walk among them.
Let's start by S. Rafael beach, the largest and more well known
of the two. With a large sand area and flanqued by limestone cliffs
of warm colors, in this beach you can observe a large diversity of
curious rock formations caused by the erosion: arches, sapas
(cavities excavated in the cliff's basis), algares (natural wells)
and bluffs (isolated rock formations).
In the cliffs you can see numerous pine trees and great mastic
shrubs suspended over the ravine top. In the sand predominate the
mediterranian saltbush, a plant that exsudate the salt excess,
beeing possible, by early morning, to see smal salt crystals in
it's leafs.
The Arrifes beach is much smaller and peacefull but, for me,
it's the most beautiful of the two.
It also haves a great diversity of stone formations, but the
ones that are the most proeminent are 3 gigantic and beautifull
bluffs in the sea in front of the beach, that offers the illusion
to be swimming in a magestic rock pool. Some sea environment
resistent plants, like the common ice plant and the rock samphire,
has managed to colonize the bluffs, however located out of the
tides influence area.
The cache:
This is a multicache formed by two caches distributed in the
Arrifes beach and its surroundings.
The 1st is a micro. The final cache is a regular quadrangular
tupperware, also packed in a black plastic bag. Due to the places
were they are have many cavities and corners, you can feel some
difficulty to find them. In case of accented high tide or agitated
sea it can also be difficult to reach the final cache.

1 black plastic bag for maintenance

1 TB Love Meter
