Geocache Description:

There used to be a virtual cache at this location called Desert Dome. Just before it was arcived AZTech tried to adopt it to keep it going but found that grandfathered caches could not be adopted. We both really like this location and wanted to keep sharing with fellow geocachers so we decided to place a regular cache there.

This cache is placed at one of the 18 old Titan II Missile Silo locations in and around the Tucson area.  This site is known as 571-4.  There are currently caches at 4 of the other locations.  "Swords To Plowshares" is at 570-9, "Defcon 1" is at 570-5, "Cashe Of The Titans II" is at 570-4 and "Titan Museum" is at 571-7.  I would like to have a cache placed at all 18 locations in the near future.

This cahe may be on state trust land so bring your pass. Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.
