A minha 6ª cache (4ª tradicional)!
Esta cache encontra-se na pequena praia da Cruz
Quebrada.
Encravada entre o mar e a linha de comboio, esta
praia é essencialmente utilizada por pescadores, os quais têm
as suas cabanas com pequenas embarcações e artes de
pesca.
Do lado Este da praia desagua o (infelizmente)
poluido rio Jamor, protegido por pontões, que há muito já se
desmoronaram.
Do lado oposto (Oeste) parte um passeio marítimo,
muito frequentado por ciclistas, que vai até à zona
ribeirinha de Caxias.
Gosto, por vezes, de vir a este local ao final do
dia apreciar o bulício das embarcações a entrarem e a sairem
da barra do Tejo, enquanto o Bugio as espreita, lá ao longe e
o sol espalha reflexos de prata na água. 
Devido à proximidade do rio Jamor e do rio Tejo, a
água não deve ser própria para banhos. O areal também está a
necessitar de um CITO... 
Foi entretanto referido por um geocacher, que
decidiu encontrar esta cache ao anoitecer, que o local poderá
ser ocasionalmente "mal frequentado" a partir de certa hora,
pelo que não será recomendável que tentem encontrar esta
cache à noite.
O acesso de carro pode ser feito a partir do
cruzamento da Av. Marginal no Estádio Nacional, indicado nos
waypoints desta página.
A cache consiste num tupperware transparente
rectangular, com tampa azul, embrulhado num saco de plástico
preto.

My 6th cache (4th traditional)!
This cache is located in the small Cruz Quebrada
beach.
Lying between the sea and the railroad, this beach
is essencialy frequentated by fishermen, who have their huts
with small boats and fisshing instruments.
In the East side of the beach drains the
(unfortunatly) polluted Jamor river, protected by pontoons
that had collapsed a long time ago.
In the opposite side (West) starts an oceanside
pathway, very frequented by cyclists, wich extends to
Caxias.
I like, sometimes, to come to this place at the end
of the day to apreciate the bustle of the ships entering and
exiting the Tagus river, while the Bugio lighthouse watches
them, far away and the sun sheds silver reflexes in the
water.
Due the proximity of the rivers Tagus and Jamor, the
water should not be apropriated to take baths. The sand is
also needing a CITO...
It was said, by a geocacher that have done this
cache by nightfall, that the place can have "bad frequency"
at night, so it is not recomended to try to find this cache
at such hours.
The acess by car can be done by a crossroad of the
Marginal Avenue, indicated in this page's
waypoints.
The cache consists in a rectangular transparent
tuppeware, with blue cover, packed in a black plastic
bag.
