Puvod rybníka na potoce Napajedla sahá až do stredoveku, kdy
tudy vedla jedna vetev obchodní stezky mezi Cechami a Saskem.Leží v
lesním komplexu severne od Decína u Maxicek. Od 10.11.2000 byl
rybník vyhlášen jako prírodní památka jelikož se zde nalezla vodní
rostlina žabnícek vzplývavý (Luronium natans), která byla do roku
1999 považovana v Ceské republice za vyhynulou.Z fauny zde
naleznete krome nekolika druhu žab, colka obecného, colka horského
a asi 7 druhu vážek. Asi pul kilometru pod rybníkem stával Králuv
mlýn. V 16. století se zde krome pily uvádí i menší hospodárská
usedlost. Za tricetileté války byly objekty zniceny požárem a
postupne zarostly lesem. V letech 1826 až 1827 nechala správa
panských lesu postavit novou pilu a lesovnu. Význam pily se však
postupne zmenšoval, až v r. 1872 úplne zastavila provoz. Zchátralá
budova musela být v r.1895 stržena. Mezitím však narustal význam
místa pro turistický ruch a proto roku 1860 obdržel hajný povolení
k podávání obcerstvení a koncem 19. století byl zbudován hostinec,
který zachycuje historická kresba. Hojne byl navštevován výletníky
ze Saska. Po roce 1945 zustal objekt opušten a zchátral. Dnes jsou
po hostinci patrné pouze základy a pilu pripomíná malé mlýnské
kolo. Je zde také zastrešená táborová jídelna a menší chaticka s
volným prístupem na prespání.
Cache se nalézá práve nedaleko Králova mlýna. Prístup je po
silnicce, která odbocuje ze žlute znacené turistické cesty kousek
od obce Maxicky. I když je cesta neznacená (pouze místní ukazatele)
je toto místo velmi navštevováno, ale jsou dny kdy je tu
liduprázdno. Auto lze zaparkovat prímo v obci, nejlépe za hotelem
Maxicky (N50 48.430 E014 10.998), kde je i možnost koupání v
rybníku. Kdo prijede do Decína vláckem, muže vyrazit již po
zminované turistické ceste - zacátek u Tyršova mostu (N50 46.893
E14 12.381), nebo vyjet na Maxicky autobusem c.10 nebo 11(Snežník).
Oba jedou hned od nádraží. Obcerstvení doporucuji v hospudce Drevák
(vynikající jelení guláš!).
The origin of the brook on the Napajedla pond goes back to the
Middle Ages, when there used to be one part of the business path
between Bohemia and Saxony. It lies in the complex of woods north
of Decín close to Maxicky.The pond was declared a natural monument
in 2000 because the water plant žabnícek (Luronium natans) was
found here (this plant was thought to be extinct in the Czech
Republic). You can also find here several species of frogs, newts
and about 7 species of dragonflies. There used to be the King´s
Mill about 0,5km from the brook and in the 16.century also a
sawmill and a small farmhouse. The houses were destroyed by fire
and gradually grew in the woods during The Thirty Years´ War. The
management of the feudal woods had a new sawmill and a gamekeeper´s
house built here in 1826 and 1827. The sawmill lost its importance
after some time and it closed down in 1872. The ruined building had
to be pulled down in 1895. In the meantime, the importance of the
place for the tourism grew bigger and the gamekeeper got the
permission for serving refreshments (1860). At the end of the 19.
century a restaurant was built here which is still visible on the
historical drawing. The restaurant was visited mainly by the
tourists from Saxony. The property was abandoned and became a ruin
after 1945. These days you can see only the bottom of the
restaurant and a small millwheel. You´ll also find here a roofed
camp canteen, a small hut for staying overnight.
CACHE is not far from The King´s Mill. You´ll get there from the
village Maxicky by following the yellow tourist path and a small
road off this path.The way isn´t very well marked (only the local
signs) but it´s being visited a lot. However there are still days
when you don´t meet anyone at all. The best is to park you car in
the village just behind the Hotel Maxicky (N50 48.430 E014
10.998)and have a swim in the brook. If you come to Decín by train,
you can take the above mentioned yellow path - the start is at The
Tyršuv most (bridge)(N50 46.893 E14 12.381) or come to Maxicky by
bus 10 or 11 (Snežník). Both depart from the bus station. I can
only reccommend you to try the venison goulash. It´s delicious!
