Il Borgo Medioevale di Canale si trova a circa dieci chilometri da Riva del Garda, poco distante dal paese di Tenno e dal lago di Tenno.
Il Borgo Medioevale di Canale è un caratteristico agglomerato rurale costruito a misura d’uomo e ricco di storia per le sue viuzze e i suoi portici che narrano vicende di altri tempi. L’architettura medioevale è rimasta pressoché immutata fino ai giorni nostri, è un po’ come che il tempo in questo paesino si fosse fermato.
Le passeggiate attorno al borgo offrono tutte una continua visione della valle del Sarca, con una suggestiva vista sul lago di Garda e catene montuose circostanti.
Questo borgo è chiamato anche “il paesino degli artisti” perché negli anni addietro molti artisti, innamoratisi di questi posti, si sono trasferiti qui, dove trascorrono parte dell’estate. E’ così che, nei week-end estivi è possibile trovare lungo le vie del borgo, esposizioni di vario genere che vanno dalle pitture alle ceramiche fino ai bastoni intarsiati. Alcuni di questi artisti aprono anche parte delle loro case per esporre le loro opere. All’interno del Borgo è visitabile anche il Museo degli Attrezzi Agricoli, una precisa testimonianza di vita pastorale e contadina del luogo.

The medioevale village of Canale is placed to approximately ten kilometers from Riva del Garda, closed from Tenno and from lake of Tenno.
Canale is a characteristic rural agglomerate rich of history for its alleys and its you carry to us that they narrate vicissitudes of other times. The medioevale architecture is remained almost the same until the days ours: it's seem that time had been stopped in this small village.
The walks around the village offer a beautiful vision of sarca valley and of Garda lake and surrounding mounts.
This village is called also “the small village of the artists” because in the past many artists, loving these places, lived here part of the year. In the summery weekends it is possible to find, along the ways of the village, exposures of paintings,ceramics,inlayed sticks. Some of these artists open also part of their houses in order to expose their works. Inside of the Village there is the Museum of the Agricultural Tools, a precise testimony of pastorale life.
