Geocache Description:

Cache is located within yards of State Route 20/26 about 40 miles west of Casper. May be muggles at times looking at the area. You may park at the entrance to the site which may be closed to vehicle traffic. Please carry cache to your vehicle for examination. Please rehide carefully as cover is scarce. CACHE IS NOT BEYOND THE FENCE. OVERHEAD 12KV POWER LINES CAN MAKE GOOD SIGNALS HARD TO ACQUIRE. Use your Spidey senses. It's a plastic .30 cal ammo container-shouldn't be that hard to find.

This area was a "location" used in the movie Starship Troopers (1997). It served as the planet Klendathu during the initial battle at night where the Troopers were decimated. Later in the movie during daylight scenes it served as Planet P.

Wind and water erosion are responsible for the interesting spires and ravines. Very colorfully pigmented layers are also visible. You'll probably want to bring your camera.

As always in most of Wyoming you should watch for snakes during the warmer months. If you come in the winter, please make extra tracks so as to not give away the cache location.
