Trocha historie:
Kolinska reparska drazka postavena v roce 1894 byla nejstarsi reparskou drazkou v Cechach. Vedla z Kolinskeho cukrovaru, ktery stal v miste dnesni Elektrarny Kolin a.s., do Frantiskova (Ovcary), do Bychor a az do Jestrabi Lhoty. Celkova delka trati dosahla 10,6 km, odbocka do Frantiskova merila dalsich 0,9 km. Ke svemu ucelu slouzila drazka temer 70 let. V 60. letech 20. stoleti byla zrusena. Provoz reparskych vlaku zabezpecovaly puvodne parni lokomotivy, pozdeji motorove dvounapravove B 600/70 a BN 60. Vagony uvezly az 8 tun repy.

V soucasnosti si o weekendu muzete prohlednout zrekonstruovane nadrazi, vytopnu a pripadne se projet vlackem tazenym parni nebo dieselovou lokomotivou.
Cache je umistena vne arealu a je trvale pristupna bez nutnosti vstupu na oploceny soukromy pozemek
Vzhledem k tomu, ze se jedna o znacne frekventovane misto, prosime o opetovne dukladne zamaskovani cache a obezretnost pri vyzvedavani a ukladani.

This drive-in cache takes you to the object reconstructed narrow gauge railway off Kolin.
A little bit of history:
Kolin sugar-beet’s groove was built up in year 1894 and was the oldest sugar-beet’s groove in Czech Republic. It led from Kolin´s sugar refinery, witch was situated in the place present Power Station Kolin a.s., to Frantiskov (Ovcary), to Bychory and up to Jestrabi Lhota. Overall length of the track reached 10,6 km, the junction to Frantiskov measured next 0,9 km. For its purpose the groove served almost 70 years. In 60th years 20th century was abolished. Service the sugar-beet’s trains supplied originally steam locomotive, later engine’s four-wheel-wagon B 600/70 and BN 60. This wagons brought in up to eight ton of the sugar-beets.
Now you can take a view of reconstructed railway station, heating plant and eventually take a riding by choo-choo train drownig by the steam or diesel locomotive.
Cache is situated outside of the area and it is constantly available without urgency of entry to fenced private area
