THALIA
Thalia presided over comedy and pastoral, merry and idyllic poetry. She also favored rural pursuits and is represented holding a comic mask and a shepherd's staff, or a wreath of ivy, which are the attributes she is most often associated with.
She is worshipped because the fame of those whose praises she sings flourishes and lasts for long periods of time.
