Après la découverte de la cache,
vous pouvez faire une balade de 8,4 Km en 3H de marche en suivant le balisage
blanc/jaune puis rouge/blanc,voir le descriptif et la carte ci-dessous.
Continuez de monter par la petite
route goudronnée. Alors que la route commence à redescendre, prenez le chemin
goudronné qui monte à droite entre les terrasses et devient rapidement une
piste qui s'enfonce dans les bois. Suivez toujours la piste principale.
Le chemin traverse un hameau en
ruine puis arrive au carrefour de la croix de Montplot.
Prenez le chemin de droite. Vous
rejoignez alors l'autre versant beaucoup plus ouvert suite à la tempête de
1999. Vous dominez alors le village de Préaux et le bassin d'Annonay. Prenez
ensuite la piste qui monte au superbe hameau de Montplot.
A Montplot, suivre alors "Saint-Victor,
4,1Km".
Rejoignez la crête par la piste
principale; vous découvrirez alors une magnifique vue sur les vallées de la
Daronne et du Doux. Descendez par la maison de VIGNET et suivez la petite route
à travers les prés.
Au Brudonnes, suivre
"Saint-Victor, 2,9Km". Continuez de descendre par la petite route en
slalomant entre les prés en terrasse. A la fourche, remontez à gauche jusqu'à
trouver un sentier qui part sur la droite. Redescendez par ce sentier et une
fois à la route, prenez à gauche pour rejoindre Saint-Victor.

After finding the ‘cache’, you can enjoy an
8.4km walk (approx 3 hours). A
description of the route and a map are provided
below. Follow the white / yellow markers
and then the red / white.
Walk up the little tarmac road. When the road starts to descend, take the
tarmac path that climbs up to the right, between the terraces, and which
quickly becomes a track going off into the woods. Keep following the main track at all times.
The path crosses a hamlet in ruins, and then
arrives at the crossroads of the cross of Montplot.
Take the right hand path. You will then join another slope that is much
more open, as a result of the 1999 storms. You will overlook the village of Préaux and the Annonay
basin. Then take the track that climbs
to the spectacular Montplot hamlet. At Montplot, follow
the sign marked ‘Saint-Victor, 4,1km’.
Take the main track to the ridge for a
magnificent view over the valleys of the Daronne and
the Doux.
Descend beside the property called VIGNET and follow the small road
across the fields.
At Brudonnes, follow the sign marked ‘Saint-Victor,
2,9km’. Continue descending on this
small road, winding in and out of the terraced fields. At the fork, take the left hand turning that
climbs until you find a path going off to the right. Descend by this path and, when you reach the
road, turn left to get back to Saint-Victor.
