A traditional cache located under an impressive viaduct, in the woods. From the parking place it's a short walk through an activities park ("Aire de Loisirs"). / Cache traditionelle dessous un viaduc imposant, a la forêt, près d'un aire de loisirs. / Traditional cache onder een indrukwekkend viaduct in bos, vlakbij een activiteiten parkje.

561 meters in length, a height of 60 meters and 18 arches: the viaduct of Mussy sous Dun. An impressive construction, built in 1895.
Mussy sous Dun is a little village located at Saône-et-Loire (71), Bourgogne, France. Famous for its wines, this area, about 50 km from Mâcon, surely is worth a visit! The nearest town is Chauffailles, where you can visit the market on fridays, which has a few shops and some bars (and also an Irish Pub).

The cache is placed in a little wood under the viaduct, near an activities park. You can park your car at N46°13.800 E004°19.860. From there, it's about a 400 meters walk.
Since the forest where the cache is hidden is dark and woody, it's possible you won't have a good GPS-reception, so we'll give you the coordinate of the entrance of the forest as well: N46°13.740 E004°19.946. From there, follow the rocky and steep path.

Longueur sur l'axe: 561 mètres, max. hauteur des piles: 60 mètres, nombre d'arches: 18... le Viaduc de Mussy sous Dun. Une construction imposante, construite en 1895.
Mussy sous Dun est un petit village du département de la Saône-et-Loire (71), Bourgogne, France. Ici, on peut découvrir et goûter les vins Maconnais, Bourgogne et Beaujolais. La première ville près de Mussy est Chauffailles, où l'on peut visiter le marché au vendredi, et il y a quelques magasins et bars.

La cache est placée dans la petite forêt sous le viaduc, près d'une aire de loisirs. Il y a un parking à N46°13.800 E004°19.860, on doit faire une petite prommenade d'environ 400 mètres.
Dans la forêt il est très possible que l'on n'ai pas une bonne réception du signal GPS, alors on vous donne les coordonnées de l'entrée de la forêt: N46°13.740 E004°19.946. Au ce point, suivre le sentier raide et cailluteux.

Een lengte van 561 meter, een hoogte van 60 meter en 18 bogen: het viaduct van Mussy sous Dun. Een indrukwekkende constructie, gebouwd in 1895.
Mussy sous Dun is een klein dorpje in het gebied Saône-et-Loire (71), Bourgogne, Frankrijk. Beroemd om de wijnen is dit gebied zeker een bezoekje waard. Het dichtsbijzijnde dorp dat wat groter is, is Chauffailles, waar er elke vrijdag een markt is en enkele winkels en bars zijn (en ook een Irish Pub).

De cache ligt in een bos onder het viaduct, vlakbij een parkje voor activiteiten. Je kan de auto parkeren op N46°13.800 E004°19.860. Vanaf daar is het ongeveer 400 meter lopen.
Aangezien het bos nogal donker is met veel bomen, is het mogelijk dat je geen goede GPS ontvangst hebt, daarom geven we je ook de coordinaten van de ingang van dat bos: N46°13.740 E004°19.946. Volg vanaf daar het steile pad met stenen.
