Geocache Description:

** I HAVE MOVED OUT OF STATE AND CAN NO LONGER MAINTAIN THIS CACHE. WOULD SOMEONE LIKE TO ADOPT THIS CACHE??? ** You are looking for a Green plastic container. Please make sure you put the lid back on tightly. This is what you seek:

The cache is easy to get to--just off the trail.

I am bringing you to this little known area because of the history behind it. Thomas Penn, a descendent of William Penn born in 1751, built a Quaker meeting house on this site. Sometime after, the house burned down to the ground. Thomas, believing he had wronged God, moved into the surrounding woods where he lived until his death. Thomas was buried in this cemetery, as were other founding families of Winslow. This site belongs to the Winslow Historical Society. While you are there, take a look at some of the old graves. Thomas' grave is in the front of the cemetery.
