This cache has been archived.

knowschad: And with that, it is time to say goodnight to our little gray companions from beyond. It is past time for them to return to the mothership. Upon visiting the crash site, I came to realize that their little landing craft was no longer inhabitable for life on this planet, and had to send them on their way.

Thanks all that took the time to look for, and hopefully found this cache. The container was one of a kind, and I will not be attempting to repair or replace it. Its been fun!

Geocache Description:

Centris recently archived here Area 52 cache in Thompson Park. I am placing this cache in honor of that one.

Rumor has it that an alien space ship once crashlanded here. The explosion was so hot that it melted all of the surrounding rock into bubbling lava. Pieces of the ship went everywhere.

The Air Force team investigating the incident gathered what they could, but their report stated that they believe there may have been a small capsule containing the Captain's log, but they could not find it. They say that it possibly was fused into one of the rocks. Can you find it?
