Mountain Meadow Pond is an easy find off of a well defined trail.
Cache is in a clear, plastic jar and is located adjacent to a quiet, peaceful spot that is abound with lady slippers, wildflowers and signs of moose and beavers. The site is accessible by 4 wheel drive(it'd be a great jeep ride), mountain bikes, ATV's and hiking. This cache was originally hidden on top of Caverly Mountain but after hiding it we realized it was only 300' from a cache that was there so we had to move it, consequently in the effort to find a great spot we forgot to write the new cache coordinates on the log book so the First to Find this cache, please change the coordinates on the log book if you think of it. The cache was hidden with a hitch hiker and notebook for the hitch hiker to log his geocaching journey. We also included a few goodies from the Alton Parks and Recreation Department to take if you'd like to leave something behind.
