Geocache Description:

One of our Royal Shakespeare Caches. You are hunting for a small tupperware container but only after you have had a stroll around lovely Stratford-upon-Avon on your way to finding it.

The above coordinates are for a free car park near to the Greenway - a path that runs near to the River Avon. It is an ideal place to begin this cache. Opening times are as follows:
November to February - 0800 to 1600
March, April, September and October - 0800 to 1800
May to August - 0800 to 2100

Allow at least two hours to complete the cache (more if you fancy a drink or some food on the way round - there are plenty of options!)

You need to visit each of the waypoints listed below to find the coordinates for the final cache - each waypoint gives one digit. You don't have to visit them in the order suggested but they will lead you on a pleasant walk.

Take care of the geokiddies - this route takes you near water and roads. The attributes for this cache say it is stroller friendly but not wheelchair friendly. This is because there are flights of steps to navigate at times. The final path to the cache is a little narrow and you'd need a torch if you were caching at night. There is also a possibility of cattle along the way.

If you have geokiddies with you stop off at:
N52 11.283 W001 42.182
There is a very cool playground here - worth a visit between waypoints 9 and 10!

When you have all the digits (A to K) from the clues just put them in this order to get the GPS coordinates for the final cache!

N52 HF.EAG W001 DB.JCK

(When we trialled this we found that our GPS got a little confused when leaving the last waypoint on the way to the final cache site. When you go under the bridge there are two footpaths - head left.)

The clues have been updated as of April 2015 but please let us know if any appear to be missing or have changed. The cache used to be part of the trail for a local bonus cache but this is now defunct so just enjoy this on its own merits!

Best of luck everyone - hope you enjoy the wander!
