In Skyline Park on top of Sugarloaf mountain.
You can park in the Skyline Park lot off of Imola ave and save a couple miles hiking for $5 or you can park for free at the Formal Gardens by JFK park.
Take the Rim Rock trail to the top of Sugarloaf mountain. My roundtrip was 6.5 miles and took about 2.5 hours. You can easily loop down to Skyline/Chaparral trail.
