One of two caches exploring Front Road as it winds 26 kms along the Lake Erie shore. At each stop along the tour, stretch your legs, enjoy a walk and find the numbers you’ll need for the actual coordinates of each hide. Check out several other caches along the way. This is also a great motorcycle route and a beautiful area we have enjoyed visiting for many years.
FIRST STOP: POSTED COORDINATES will take you to a waterfront structure close to a parking area. Count the number of upright rails on the structure: A = __ __ SECOND STOP: (N 42 45.358 W 80 15.414) Search the grounds here for the following information: When did Lieut.-Col Samuel Ryerse come to Upper Canada? B = __ __ __ __ When was SS No 1. built? C = __ __ __ __ Add A + B + C = __ __ __ __ then divide by 1000 to get D = __ .__ __ __ FINAL COORDINATES are: N 42 41.680 + D = W 80 11.914 + D = Due to tree cover, coords may be a little off. The second hint will be a spoiler unless you really need it. Cache is a medium sized camoed peanut butter jar. Please rehide and recover well.
