Geocache Description:

Extreme way to 52 will take you on an adventure that you will not soon forget!

This cache can be even more extreme, because it is directly affected by the weather. For example: If it’s a hot summer day, the wildlife will try to eat you alive. If it’s a cold winter day, then the terrain will be that much harder to transverse.

NOTE: If you’re claustrophobic, scared of the dark or have a bad back you shouldn’t try this cache! So you decide if you want to try it or turn back!

BUT, if you are, then at least go to the first stage, sign the log, and see the really cool house that is build underground. The house is on the right side of the road on the way to the first stage and looks like a buried castle.

WARNING: This cache will require you to walk into the dark. Then wade or crawl through water and climb a waterfall. Then climb hills, and possibly a cliff.

Well, if you’re still reading this, then you may be up for the challenge. So here's some information to get you started. DON’T forget your flashlight and your wading boots or at least be prepared to get wet. Once you reach the other side, you will have both halves of the coordinates to the last stage for this multi-stage cache. At that point you only have to find it and you can continue straight from that location or take the long way around. But beware one way is just as bad as the other.

So choose you extreme way to 52, document your trip, because I know you will want to remember it (video, I hope), and good luck!

PS: Don’t go after this one if you don’t have at least a couple of hours to spend and I don’t recommend going in November with out wearing lots of blaze orange because deer hunting season will be open.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: When you do find the final cache, you will be about two ridges from were I got shot and earned my nickname!

So, I hope that even if you decide not to finish it or even try to, that you will let me know what you think about it.

FTF Prize: 1972 VW Bug title, free and clear!!

Notice: "The first stage of this cache is adjacent to the property owners of the underground castle! And if you cross their property to get to the first stage, they would like for you to ask for permission and do so on the weekends when they would most likely have time to tell you the safest way to the first stage and show you around the castle, if you would like to see it!

The front door that you will need to knock on is down the steps in the tower!

OTHERWISE YOU ARE TRESPASSING AND THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONIBLE IF YOU GET HURT ON THEIR PROPERTY!

The best place to park is on the right side of the road where the cable is stretched across an old right of way road leading down the hill before you get to the end of the main road."
