Explanation of the title in english : "Once upon a

La cache ne nécessite pas
d’équipement particulier. Elle se trouve dans le parc près du
Naturospace de Honfleur. Il y a beaucoup de mugles dans ce
coin, alors s'il vous plaît, n'oubliez pas de remettre les morceaux
de bois qui servent de camouflage. Merci d'avance.

cache does not require any specific equipment. You’ll find it
in the park near the Naturospace of Honfleur. There are a lot of
mugles in this place, so please, dont forget to put the camouflage

Honfleur
Laissez-vous transporter à des
milliers de kilomètres au cœur de la plus grande serre
tropicale à papillons de France : une forêt tropicale de 800 m² où

Escape into the unique world of the Rain Forest in the largest
tropical butterfly house in France.Suddenly transported into a
tropical paradise of 800sq.metres, with a constant temperature of
28°, fall under the spell of this luxuriant
forest.
The
amazing trees, the brilliantly coloured flowers and the many
species of butterflies flying around you, will give you the
immediate illusion of being in distant latitudes.... You will also
be able to discover the hatcher in which you will see the opening
of chrysalises and the birth of young
butterflies...
Don't
forget to see the gorgeous garden just behind the
Naturospace.

magnet, two little magnets, two slides, un little plastic tiger, a
dice.

et prendre le temps de visiter cette très belle petite
ville.
Honfleur est située dans
l'estuaire de la Seine, près du Pont de Normandie. Les maisons du
port sont remarquables et elles ont inspiré, il y a 120 ans, des
peintres tels que Monet, Courbet et surtout Boudin. Elles ont
également inspiré la variété de galeries d'art parsemées dans la
ville...
Les grandes maisons construites
entre le 16ème et 17ème siècle donnent l'impression d'avoir peu
changé au fil des siècles. La ville contient également quelques
manoirs fascinants mais peut être que la construction la plus
remarquable est l'église Sainte Catherine, la plus grande église de
France construite en bois, apparemment le matériau le moins coûteux
après la guerre de cent ans.
Du côté sud du bassin, il y a une
ancienne prison, qui a été construite au 15ème siècle et qui abrite
maintenant un musée. Il y a un chemin pavé menant vers une place où
il y a quelques galeries intéressantes et de bons
restaurants.
Dans le port
principal vous trouverez d’excellents restaurants côtés au
guide Michelin. Il est également possible d'acheter du poisson sur
le bord du quai directement aux pêcheurs quand ils débarquent leur
pêche.
Tout au long de l'été un grand
nombre d’artistes peuvent être observés dans la ville, en
particulier autour du port, vendant leurs œuvres aux
visiteurs.
Le compositeur Eric Satie a
également vécu à Honfleur et sa maison est maintenant un musée
situé dans une des rues pavées qui mènent au port. La tradition de
la musique est perpétuée dans la ville avec des concerts en plein
air tout au long de l’été.
Des antiquités, des bâtiments
anciens aux tables colorées et bougainvilliers sur les trottoirs,
il y a quelque chose d’exceptionnel à chaque détour de la
ville.
Le marché du samedi matin en
centre ville offre un bon choix de nourriture cultivée localement
et des produits faits maison comprenant du fromage, du cidre, du
vin, de la viande et des pâtisseries.

Honfleur is found on the estuary of the Seine, close to the
modern new bridge, the Pont de Normandie. The port houses are the
main attraction now, as they were 120 years ago, when they inspired
painters such as Monet and Courbet, and above all Boudin. They have
also inspired the variety of art galleries that now scatter the
town...
The
tall, slate-fronted, houses built in the 16th and 17th centuries
give the appearance of being little changed in the intervening
centuries. The town also contains several other fascinating manor
houses, but perhaps the most remarkable building though is the
Church of Saint Catherine, the largest church in France to be built
from wood - apparently the cheapest material available after the
Hundred Years War.
On
the south side of the basin is the old prison, which was built
circa 15th century and now houses a museum, which in turn, forms
part of an area of cobbled walkways leading into a square where
there are some interesting galleries and good
restaurants.
In
the main harbour the sea going fishing boats tie up, their catch
gracing the tables of a fine collection of restaurants, many
boasting Michelin stars. It is also possible to purchase fish on
the quayside direct from the fishermen when they land their
catch.
Throughout the summer a number or artists can be seen working
in the town particularly around the harbour, selling their finished
work to the visitors.
The
composer Eric Satie also lived here and his home is now a museum
situated on one of the cobbled streets that lead to the harbour.
The tradition of music is carried on in town with open air evening
concerts and dancing displays throughout the
summer.
From
antiques and ancient buildings to colourful pavement tables and
hanging bougainvillea, there is something outstanding at virtually
every turn.
The
Saturday market takes over the centre of the town and offers a good
selection of locally grown food and home made products including,
cheese, cider, wines, meat and pastries.
