Geocache Description:

An old 1902 railroad bridge from days gone by crossing Piru Creek. Log only; bring your own writing utensil.

Please access from Warring Park on Orchard Street in Piru. Parking is free. The other end of the bridge is near private property and you would have to cross the bridge, which we do not recommend.

There is no need to go out on the bridge to reach the cache. There are steep drop-offs near the bridge, so keep a close eye on children and be extra careful if retrieving the cache at night.

Warring Park has picnic tables and restrooms. Nearby Piru creek had a good amount of water and ducks in it when we placed the cache. You can see the newer bridges of "We Love Old Bridges" (GCK339) from this site.

There is a benchmark near the corner of one of the park buildings.
