In the Nerei canyon/gorges (Cheile Nerei), on an ancient road, with tunnels carved into the mountain rock. Caras Severin county.
Nerei canyon is a beautiful and remote natural park in the south east of Romania, great scenery and ideal for a hiking trip.
The cache is situated along an trail with ancient tunnels carved into rock.
The hiding place is a 5 minute walk from the Beiului Bridge (N 44 deg 54.167 / E 21 deg 44.889 ). You can get there by car from Sasca Romana or Potoc villages (beware, the road is a little bumpy)
Alternatively, you can leave your car in Sasca Romana and take an 1 hour walk (ask the villagers for the road to 'Podul Beiului', through the tunnels)
