Kätkö on kesäkuussa 2005 rakennetulla pienellä sillalla, joka tehtiin helpottamaan mm. maastoratsastajien, rekiretkeilijöiden yms. hevosliikkujien siirtymistä yli ison ojan. Käyttäjiä ovat myös mm. koiranulkoiluttajat.
Kätkön etelänpuoleisella Tursolan kyläalueella on lukuisia hevostalleja. Näiden hevosharrastajien liikkumista vaikeuttaa lisääntyvä asutus ko. kylällä. Sillan avulla mahdollistettiin maasto-olosuhteissa liikkuvien ratsujen yms. siirtyminen alueen pohjoisosiin.
Ajankohtaiseksi kätkön tekee juuri (huhtikuu 2007) kunnan tekemä iso maakauppa, jolla se osti sillankin ympäriltä yli 130 hehtaaria maata. Tälle alueelle on tarkoitus osin jo 3-5 vuoden sisällä kaavoittaa omakotitalo-asutusta. Kiinnostavaa nähdä miten jatkossa sillan kanssa käy!

Kätkön lähelle ei pääse autolla (huomaa ajokiellot!), sopiva parkkipaikka löytyy koordinaateista N61.29.481, E024.01.064. Tästä kohtaa on linnuntietä kätkölle 600 metriä. Kätkön läheisellä pellolla tulee liikkua pellon reunoilla. Kätkö on löydettävissä myös talvella.
Kirjaa käyntisi myös sillalla olevaan vieraskirjaan, mutta älä paljasta tässä kirjauksessa kätköä (kirjaa käynnin syyksi "liito-oravat"). VIeraskirjan avulla seurataan sillan käyttöä mm. juuri hevosien kanssa (vieraskirjakin uusittiin samaan aikaan kätkön asettamisen kanssa).

Kätkörasia on pieni Mövenpick-jäätelörasia, joita ei enää ollutkaan ainakaan paikallisessa "osuuskaupassa" myytävänä. Käsittele siis varoen!

The Horsey Bridge Cache is on a small bridge that was built in 2005 to make crossing the big ditch easier for both people and horses. There are several stables on the south side of the bridge around the village of Tursola. Population growth in the area has made it increasingly difficult for horseback riders and horses pulling sleighs to get around. The bridge will let them stay off the roads and still get to the northern side of the area.
In April 2007 the municipality purchased 130 hectares of land surrounding the bridge, with a plan of building single-family homes in the area in the next three to five years.
You can not drive your car close to the cache. Suitable parking can be found 600 meters from it at N 61° 29.481 E 024° 01.064. Please stay to the sides of the farm field. Cache can be found in the winter.
Please log your visit also in the log book at the bridge, but do not reveal you are geocaching, say that you came to see the flying squirrels. Officials are monitoring the usage of the bridge, particularly by riders.
Please be careful with the small ice-cream container holding the cache, you can no longer purchase them.
