Julmien Lampien luonnonsuojelualue Saarijärven Kalmarin kylän
alueella on mainio retkeilykohde. Alueen parasta antia ovat syvät
rotkolammet, synkät metsät sekä louhikot. 13-tieltä lähtee
lampialueelle 3 kilometrin pituinen lenkki, jonka varrella myös
kätkö sijaitsee. Polun alku on viitoitettu hyvin, joten auton
parkkeerauspaikan hakemisesta ei pitäisi tulla ongelmia. Lisää

Alueen läpi kulkee myös pidempi polku, joka on nimetty
Johan
Ludvig Runebergin mukaan. Hän oli viettänyt aikaansa näillä
seuduilla, näkyen myös hänen teoksissaan.
Julmat Lammit nature reserve in Saarijärvi is an ideal
destination for walks of different lengths. Typical characteristics
of the area are rather deep gorge ponds, gloomy forests as well as
rocks. The start of the 3 km path to the ponds and the cache is
along the highway 13. The starting point is well signposted, so
finding a neat parking place should not be a problem. More

In addition, there is a longer trail spanning through the area,
named after Johan
Ludvig Runeberg, who used to spend years of his life in the
region.
