An ammo box easily located off of a lesser used trail in Griffith Park that overlooks the location of the old Los Angeles Zoo
After hiking these trails with my two boxer dogs (Trooper Thorn and BeBop) for many years, I decided it was high time I placed a few along one of my more favorite routes. This hike is moderate to strenuous, (about a 1 mile round trip) depending on how much you like to go hiking. If you look off to the south east, you can make out the lawn and bear pits of the old Los Angeles Zoo.
After this one, you can make a loop to pick up
"Out of the way Picnic Day"
and
"Between a Rock and a Hard Place"
If you do the 3 cache round trip, it will take you about 2 miles and will take you at least an hour, depending on how sharp your caching spotting skill are.
