Der Multicache führt Euch auf das Plateau eines Berges. Hier ereignete sich vor vielen Jahren eine furchtbare Tragödie, bei der viele Menschen ihr Leben verloren. Als Zeichen der Erinnerung befinden sich entlang eines Weges zahlreiche steinerne Kreuze. Auf dem Plateau findet Ihr neben weiteren Gedenkplätzen auch eine Hinweistafel, auf der Ihr die Details der Tragödie nachlesen könnt. Außerdem befinden sich dort oben eine öffentliche Grillstelle sowie ein Startplatz für Paragleiter und Drachensegler.
Vorab ein paar Hinweise zum Lösen der Rätsel:
Wenn aus einem Buchstaben eine Zahl errechnet werden soll, dann ist damit jeweils die Stelle des Buchstaben im Alphabet gemeint, also z.B.: (M) = 13, (B) = 2.

Hinter den Koordinatenangaben steht die Quersumme aller Koordinatenziffern in Klammern. Damit könnt Ihr kontrollieren, ob Ihr die richtigen Koordinaten habt, also z.B.:
WP9: N 47° 53,451 E 008° 33,430 (QS=50).
Auf dem Weg gilt es unter anderem für die Platzhalter Q bis Z jeweils eine Ziffer 0 bis 9 auszurechnen (Mehrfachbelegungen sind möglich!). Mit diesen Platzhaltern wird dann der Kreuzweg des Finals beschrieben.
So jetzt aber los: Zusätzlich zum Cache wartet ein herrlicher Ausblick über die Baar auf alle Geocacher des Kreuzwegs.
Startet bei: N 47° 53,598 E 008° 33,347 (QS=69)
Dort ist eine Hinweistafel. Parken könnt Ihr entweder bei der Hinweistafel oder am Friedhofsparkplatz.
Nun geht den geteerten Weg bergauf. Bei den Koordinaten
WP1: N 47° 53,545 E 008° 33,713 (QS=58)
verlasst Ihr den geteerten Weg und geht weiter auf dem Schotterweg in Richtung Westen.
Bei den Koordinaten
WP2: N 47° 53,451 E 008° 33,430 (QS=50)
beginnt der Kreuzweg der armen Seelen. Die armen Seelen werden Euch mit ihren Namen, Vornamen und Todesjahren den Kreuzweg zum Final weisen, ein paar Rechenkünste werden allerdings benötigt.
ZAHL1 = (Todesjahr der ersten armen Seele) – 1558
ZAHL2 = (Todesjahr der zweiten armen Seele) – 1445
Geht nun zum WP3, das ist das Steinkreuz bei den Koordinaten
WP3: N 47° 53,ZAHL1 E 008° 33,ZAHL2 (QS=60)
An WP3 gilt es folgendes abzulesen und auszurechnen:
ZAHL3 = (5. Buchstabe des 1. Vornamens)
ZAHL4 = (1. Buchstabe des 1. Nachnamens)
Ziffer Q = (1. Buchstabe des 2. Vornamens) – 10
Ziffer R = (letzter Buchstabe des 2. Nachnamens) + 1

Von WP6 geht es 235 Meter in Richtung ZAHL7, um zum WP7 zu gelangen.
Vielleicht hilft Euch ja auch der Spruch, der hier auf Euch wartet weiter, auf jeden Fall errechnet Ihr mit ihm und mit der Zahl, die hier steht die letzten Ziffern Y und Z:
Ziffer Y = (1. Buchstabe des letzten Wortes)
Ziffer Z = (eingemeißelte Zahl) – 10
Jetzt braucht Ihr die Ziffern Q bis Z nur noch unten richtig einzusetzen, und Ihr erhalten die Koordinaten der vier Kreuzwegpunkte K1, K2, K3 und K4. Der erste Weg führt von K1 nach K2. Der zweite Weg führt von K3 nach K4. Der Cache befindet sich genau dort, wo sich die beiden Wege kreuzen.
K1: N 47° 53,ZUT E 008° 33,WUW (QS=61)

Way of the crosses
This Multichache leads you to the plateau of a mountain. Here, many years ago there was an awful tragedy. Many people lost their lives. Along the way there are many stone crosses as signs of remembrance. On top of the plateau you also find, beside other monuments, a plaque were you can read the details of the tragedy. Also up there you will find a public picnic area with a grill as well as a launching spot for parachutes and hang-gliders. The plateau is also well liked for summer festivals for schools.
First some tips to solve the riddle.
If out of a letter a number has to be generated, then it has to be like this: Every letter stands for a number as (A) = 1, (B) = 2, …, (Z) = 26.

Behind the location specification there is the crossfoot of all the coordinates digits in brackets. Now you can check if you have the right coordinates, for example:
WP9: N 47° 53.451 E 008° 33.430 (CF=50).
On the way you have to figure out among other things for the ambiguus letters Q to Z a digit (numeral) 0 to 9 (multiple occupancy are possible). This ambiguus letters describe the final of the way of the crosses.
Now, let’s get started. Besides the Cache a wonderful view overlooking the Baar is waiting for you.
Start at: N47° 53.598 E 008° 33.347 (CF=69)
Here you will find a plaque. You can park your car at the plaque or at the graveyard.
Now walk the paved way uphill. At the coordinates:
WP1: N47° 53.545 E 008° 33.713 (CF=58)
leave the paved way and walk west on the gravel walk.
At the coordinates
WP2: N47° 53.451 E 008° 33.430 (CF=50)
the way of the crosses of the departed souls starts. The departed souls will show you with their names, surnames and years of their death the way to the Multicache, but of course you will have to do some calculating to get there.
NUMBER1 = (year of death of the first departed soul) – 1558
NUMBER2 = (year of death of the second departed soul) – 1445
Now you have to go to WP3. That is the stone cross at the coordinates
WP3: N 47° 53.NUMBER1 E 008° 33.NUMBER2 (CF=60)
On WP3 you have to read and figure out:

On WP6 you have to read and figure out:

From WP6 you have to go 235 meters in direction NUMBER7 to get to WP7. Maybe it would be helpful to read the verse, which is there for you, but in any case you have to figure out the last letters Y and Z:

All you have to do now is to put the letters Q to Z in the correct place and you have the coordinates of the four crosspoints (C1, C2, C3 and C4). The first way leads from C1 to C2. The second way leads from C3 to C4. The Cache is located were both ways cross.
