Kätkö sijaitsee Tertivaara-Tiensuu tien, eli Vornan museotien
välittömässä läheisyydessä. Venäläiset rakennuttivat maantien
pikkuvihan aikana 1741 - 1743. Tien Pohjoispäädyssä on Suomen sodan
aikainen muistomerkki. Tie kulkee kapean harjun päällä ja siltä on
upeat näköalat ympäröiville järville.
The cache is hidden by the highway of Vorna. The highway was
built by the Russians during the Period of Lesser Hate in 1741-43.
Some battles were also fought by the road during the Russo Swedish
war of 1808 (Suomen sota). The highway was chosen to be a museum
road in 1982. You can admire the beautiful North Carelian lake
scenery from the road.
