Geocache Description:

Queen Mary Gardens are near Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth. Parking is available nearby.

Queen Mary Gardens were established in 1912 by a generous benefactor, the Honourable Agnes Mary Goldman, to commemorate the coronation of Queen Mary.

The site was originally a river mouth called Kimberley Marshes, which silted up after the development of the shingle bar now known as Gyllyngvase Beach.
