A walk to a forgotten site of Litomysl.
LITOMYŠL SHALOM lze preložit jako "užijte si Litomyšl ze židovské stránky". Litomyšl je plná památek na minulost dávnou i dávnejší, tem se venuje napríklad serie keší Krajem Smetany a Martinu. Tato keš chce upozornit na historii, která pomalu mizí z ocí, prestože její pametníci dosud žijí mezi námi. Zveme vás na procházku po židovské Litomyšli. Ac v soucasnosti v našem meste nežije nikdo, kdo by se k židovství hlásil, pred druhou svetovou válkou to bylo jinak. Doporucujeme nahlédnout na stránky projektu, který vytvorili žáci místní základní školy v rámci akce Židovského muzea v Praze. Výchozí souradnice vás zavedou na místo, kde stávala litomyšlská synagoga. Je zde umístěna památeční stéla. Přečtěte si krátký text, josu v něm dva letopočty. Odečtěte menší od většího a dostanete číslo A. To použijte k výpočtu souřadnic finálky. Vzorec je následující: N 49° 53.(A*31); E 016° 18.(A*54)
Vyrážíte-li na lov autem, pak u výchozího bodu zaparkujete lehce. K finálce se mužete priblížit, ale stejne budete muset nakonec po svých. Až budete hledat poklad, myslete prosím na to, že jste na míste, které si zasluhuje patricnou úctu a chovejte se ohleduplne. PŘEDEVŠÍM NEROZEBÍREJTE ZEĎ, KEŠ V NÍ NENÍ. Raději se rozhlédněte a použijte nápovědu.
Keška Litomysl Shalom je prvním pokladem, který uložil náš Osmák tým. Původně byla umístěna ve zdi a obsahovala také třicet výtisků sborníku Zmizelí sousedé. Příběhy se rozebehly do světa, dnes už jsou vzácné, zásoby došly.
LITOMYŠL SHALOM can be translated as "enjoy Litomyšl from its Jewish side". Litomyšl is full of remembrances of the
past long ago and long gone. These are addressed for example in a cache series Krajem Smetany a Martinu. Our cache wants to draw your attention to history that slowly vanishes from the sight though its personal observers still live among us. We invite you to take a walk round the Jewish Litomyšl. Although at the moment there is nobody living in our town who would profess Judaism, the situation before WWII was different. We recommend to reference project website set up by pupils of a local primary school within the scope of an action organized by the Jewish Museum in Prague. Starting coordinates will take you to a sall memorial statue located in a rather surprising place. Read the inscription and find two dates (years) there. Subtract the lower number from the higher one and get the number A. The formula for the final coordinates is as follows: N 49° 53. (A*31); E 016° 18. (A*54)
If you set out on the chase by car, it is easy to park by the starting point. You can get near the final cache but in the end you will have to walk anyway. When searching for the treasure please bear in mind you find yourself in a place that deserves proper respect and behave considerately. Looking from the hill, enjoy a beatiful view of the town and almost magical atmosphere of the place. Both will be amplified if you set out for the chase at night.
Cache Litomysl Shalom is a first treasure hidden by our Osmak team. Originally it was placed inside the stone wall. In 2015 it has been moved so as to protect the wall from destruction by geocachers. We wish you good hunt.
