Vuoden 2008 asuntomessut järjestetään 11.7.–10.8.2008 Vaasassa Suvilahden kaupunginosassa Ahvensaaren rannalla.
Messujen keskeinen teema on sosiaalisesti ja ekologisesti kestävä merellinen asuminen keskustan tuntumassa.
Ahvensaaren alueella asustaa myös liito-oravia (Pteromys volans) jotka ovat euroopan unionin alueella harvinaisia. Jää nähtäväksi, miten liito-oravat tulevat toimeen pienentyvällä asuinalueellaan.
Kätköltä on hyvä näkyvyys asuntomessualueelle. Mikäli mahdollista, liitä loggaukseesi valokuva jonka olet ottanut kätköltä kohti messualuetta.
Vaikeus/Maastoluokitus tehty kesäkelin mukaan. Talvella ja keväällä maasto on helpompaa.

The housing fair of 2008 will be held on 11th July to 10th of August 2008, on the beach of Ahvensaari in Suvilahti in the town of Vaasa.
The central theme of the fair is socially and ecologically sustainable living located at seaside and near town center.
Siberian Flying Squarrels (Pteromys volans), which are quite rare in the European Union, live also in the Ahvensaari area. Time will tell how well these flying squarrels will do in their shrinking habitat.
There is a good view from the cache to the fair grounds. If possible, take a photo from the cache towards the fair grounds and attach the photo to you log.
Difficulty / Terrain rating is defined for summer. During spring and winter it might be easier.
