This is a normal sized cache in one of the most visually scenic parts of the Dale Peninsular. Make sure that you have your camera with you for some superb shots.
Close by was the scene some years ago in February 1996, of the Sea Empress disaster hence the name of the cache. The Sea Empress was a crude oil tanker which ran aground on the rocks at the enterance to the Milford Haven waterway and discharged about 72,000 tonnes of oil into the sea. Fortunately for all our wildlife accidents like that do not occur too often.
Parking for those of you who are travelling by car can be found at the public car park before entering St. Annes Head.
