TO FIND THE CAPITALE MONDIALE DE LA PREHISTOIRE (BONUS) YOU NEED TO COUNT THE NUMBER OF FENCE UPRIGHTS (THERE ARE OVER 150!) ALONG FROM THE STATION TO THE LEVEL CROSSING NEAR TAYAC CHURCH. THIS GIVES YOU "Z" FOR THE BONUS.

La vallée de la Vézère avec 15 sites inscrits au patrimoine mondial de l’humanité par l’Unesco, rassemble de très nombreux témoignages de l’expression symbolique et de l’évolution des cultures matérielles de l’homme préhistorique. Parmi ceux-ci figurant les plus belles grottes ornées: Font-de-Gaume, Combarelles, le Poisson, etc ainsi que plusieurs gisements préhistoriques de référence, la Micoque, le Moustier, la Ferrassie et Laugerie-Haute.
Les co-ordinates sont pour le parking de la Marie òu la plupart des clefs sont etre trouver. Il y a parking gratuit “à la Vezere” (N 44 o 56.277' E 001o 00.605') mais si vous cherchez les 3 caches le parking a la gare est le mieux (N 44 o 56.480' E 001o 00.510').

La cache “Moderne” est situé à N 44 degrés 56.*** secondes E 001 degrés 00.*** secondes Les secondes nord sont (H) (G+J - I) (K) et les secondes est sont (G-K) (H+I) (J+L). Cette cache est une boite “Tupperware” d’ une litre, couleur brun.

The Vézère valley, with 15 Unesco World Heritage sites, boasts a great many examples of the symbolic expression of the evolution of prehistoric man’s material cultures. The “Modern” cache can be found at N 44 56.*** E 001 00.*** The missing North seconds are (H) (G+J - I) (K) and those for East are (G-K) (H+I) (J+L). The cache is a 1 litre ‘Tupperware’ container coloured brown.
