A fairly simple cache in a remote part of Wales
Watery Wales 2 is a series of caches on the banks of lakes and streams in the Welsh Hills. Unlike Watery Wales 1, some require a little more walking across rougher terrain and aren't all suited for younger children or the physically unfit.
The whole series can be attempted as a circular walk which will require some navigation through rough ground without any marked paths. The recommended route starts with Anglers Retreat and visits the caches in an anti-clockwise direction.
Llyn Penrhaeadr is a short walk from Watery Wales 2 - Anglers Retreat. The cache is high up on the banks of Llyn Penrhaedar not far from the well marked path.
A windy, remote place at most times that sums up 'Watery Wales', although it could make a perfect place for a picnic in the summer. The walk to it is along easily traversed tracks, although they aren't suited to wheelchairs or buggies. An 'all-terrain' buggy would be OK though.
For those into mountain-biking then the tracks around here are perfect. However, if attempting all of the caches in the Watery Wales 2 series using the recommended route then the going gets a little tougher from here on.
