Geocache Description:

Its not called the Mud Bath for Nothing! Take your boots...

This cache is located in the maze of green roads and tracks in this area of Red Devon, these tracks are much favoured by Horse Riders, Mountain Biker, and Off road 4x4 Drivers.

On a clear day the area offers fantastic views over the Teign Estuary, Babbacombe Bay and Dartmoor.

If you can spare a couple of hours this cache can make part of an interesting triangular walk . That take in the Trig point at SX93027142 know as The Beacon (it was the site of one of the Beacons that formed part of early warning system for launch of Drakes' Ships against the Spanish Armada) and the Village of Stokeinteignhead.. You can also bag another one of my caches “The Rocky Horror” on route..

It is best to park either at Labrador Bay car park (SX92947083) or the village of Stokeinteignhead.

I would advise taking welly boots as some of the paths can become flooded after heavy rain….
