Geocache Description:

The hike progresses from very easy to short bouts of vertical climbing. Once the waypoint is reached the cache is easy to find...
THEME = PLEASE try to bring a picture or CD for trade. I want to trade items that have meaning such as photos, funny magazine clips, post cards, or CD's.

I left my favorite CD for the FTF.

DIRECTIONS: - Take 287 East or West to Rt. 22 Northbound (N. Broadway) - After several miles (gas stations and food) you will make a right turn. - There is a small brown sign for Cranberry Lake. Turn in and park either at the lower or upper lot. * Note - the upper lot closes at 4PM and you could be locked in. Lower lot provides more hiking anyway.

The cache is easy to find, but getting there is NOT for everyone. If you prefer paved trails this isn't your cup of tea.

The cache is hidden in a place that will show hikers another side of The Cranberry Lake Preserve. There IS some light climbing to reach the cache (ropes & gear NOT NEEDED). I recommend good hiking boots. Older children are welcome but it's not safe for youngsters. There is a lot of glass from teenagers so watch where you put your hands. The cache is a tupperware tub...good luck! REMEMBER! Bring a picture or CD , write a caption on it, and trade. Let's share memories, laughs, music!
