A láda a szépen felújított gyugyi Árpád-kori templom közelében található. En el pueblo de Gyugy, no lejos del lago Balaton, existe una iglesia preciosa. There is a beautiful 900-year-old church near the lake Balaton, in the village called Gyugy. The cache is near the church.

Gyugy a Balaton közelében, a Balatonboglári borvidék területén fekvő kis falu, legkönnyebben Szőlősgyörök, esetleg Lengyeltóti felől érhető el. Romanikus stílusú temploma mintegy 900 évvel ezelőtt épült, majd 1999-ben felújították, egy évvel később pedig környezetét parkosították. A dombot, amelyen áll, II. János Pál pápáról nevezték el. A területen egy középkori földvár maradványai is megfigyelhetők. A falu déli részén egy 1865-ben épült, ma magántulajdonban álló, nem látogatható kastély is áll, a településen pedig világháborús hősi emlékmű is található.

Gyugy es un pueblo pequeño en Hungría, en el condado de Somogy. El pueblo, que no está lejos del lago Balaton, forma parte de la región vinícola de Balatonboglár. Puede ser alcanzado desde Szőlősgyörök, desde el norte. La iglesia del pueblo fue construida aproximadamente hace 900 años, y fue renovada en 1999. En 2000 un parque fue formado alrededor de ella. El montículo, donde se ubica, y donde es posible percibir una fortificación medieval también, tiene el nombre del Papa Juan Pablo II. En la parte sur de Gyugy existe una mansión, pero está en propiedad privada, y no puede ser visitada. Cerca el punto N 46° 41.442', E 17° 40.902' hay un monumento de los héroes de las guerras mundiales.

Gyugy (pronounce it like ,,Djoudj'') is a little village in Hungary, in Somogy county, near the lake Balaton. It is part of the Balatonboglár Wine Region. You can reach the village from north, via Szőlősgyörök. The church of the village was built approximately 900 years ago in roman style, and was renovated in 1999. In 2000, a small park was formed around it. The church stands on a little hill, named after Pope John Paul II. Around the church, you can see a medieval fortification too, if you look around. The cache is hidden near the church, 50-100 metres to the east. In the south part of Gyugy, there is also a castle (built in 1865), but it is ruined, and is in private property, cannot be visited. At the coordinates N 46° 41,442', E 17° 40,902' you can see the memorial of the heroes/victims of the two world wars.
