Geocache Description:

This cache has been approved by the Chief of Police and the Head of Grounds Maintenance at WSU. A big THANK YOU goes out to them. If the cache is not up there, it is nearby. Before you go after this cache, you have to have a plan. part of the plan is contacting me, or other cachers in the loop as to where it is, if it is not up there.

Listed coordinates are the actual cache coordinates.

I do not recommend placing travel bugs or geocoins in this cache.

This cache was inspired by Bennets short lived and now Terracache "No strength required, just ingenuity." (The terracache is TC2UZ Ingenuity). My personal favorite cache so far. This is going to be a little different than the kind of cache you're accustomed to searching for. Completion requires no strength, just a lot of thought and ingenuity. You might also need to bring your bag of geostuff. I placed this cache with my feet firmly planted on the ground. Please do not climb, dig, turn over, poke or prod anything. Don't bother the lights, it's not there. You will be searching for a decon container hidden in plain sight. Please respect the grounds of WSU so this cache can be enjoyed by those who follow.

To complete this cache, just like any other cache, you must locate, sign, and replace it to its present location. This cache is listed as a puzzle cache because there is a code at the top of the log that will have to be emailed to me to claim this cache. I think the best place for you to park would be at Frisch's on Col Glenn Highway at (N 39'46.593 W084'03.975) and walk across the road to the cache site for a couple of different reasons. Crosswalks are provided. Please be careful, it's very busy. Do not for any reason park on University Blvd. When you get to the cache location, if you have trouble spotting the container,(you've got to trust me on this one) return to Frisch's, go inside and get yourself a window seat facing the cache site. Get yourself a cup of coffee, lunch, whatever and CAREFULLY observe the cache location from there. The coords for Frisch's are for the exact seat I chose. You should be able to spot it from there. See it? Good. Now, sit back and enjoy your coffee, and think about the position I have just placed you in. If you're in a hurry or your GPSr won't work indoors you can also try spotting it from (N 39'46.601 W084'04.027) same results without the coffee. If you retrieve the container and can't figure out how to replace it, don't worry, hide it nearby, email me the coords and I'll replace it for you, But no smiley! EVER!! (just kidding) Good luck and above all have fun. -stevensheri

This cache requires you to not only find it, but to figure out how to get the container to sign the logsheet, and then figure out how to replace the container back how you found it. Do not claim a found-it until the container is back in place. A note of progress is acceptable so I may temporarily disable the cache to give you more time. In the words of stevensheri..."Take your time and work it out. When it's signed and back in place, love it or hate it, you'll never forget it."

The original hider of this well known geocache has sadly passed away. Steve” of stevensheri died on August 16, 2012 at the age of 61. He had placed 4 unique geocache hides and had found 271 geocaches before he went on to spend time on other hobbies like his radio controlled helicopters. He was a wealth of knowledge and will be missed. This cache lives on to honor his memory.

stevensheri's e-mail to slammer47 on 4/16/2007:
"Great job! I'm so glad you had the guts to try it. I think I'll go ahead and disable it until you get it back in place so no one else tries to find it. Are you doing it solo? If so you are the first. I've done it a few times by myself,so it can be done. I also had it come clear over the top a few times. It's pretty skinny up there. Yours is also a totally new method.Very interesting. I'm wondering... once you get it in place... (removed to keep integrity of hide) ... I'm not going to spoil the challenge for you, but remember, I've got your back. If you get stuck, I'd be glad to give you some tips. I don't want you to become completely frustrated and hate it. I want you to someday tell your grandchildren about this one! Need help just ask. Good luck, Steve"
