(F): Commencez votre excursion à partir de Vence. Prenez la route D2 de Vence en montant vers la direction « Col de Vence » Suivez cette route pittoresque jusqu’à ce que vous arrivez au panneau « COMMUNE DE COURSEGOULES ». Vous y trouverez un parking (altitude 961 m) sur votre côte droit.
Garez la voiture et prenez le chemin à droite (environ 200 m), Vous vous trouvez maintenant au milieu d’un paysage lunaire. Sur la côté droit du chemin vous verrez les vestiges d’une colonne romaine, en fait c’est une colonne de style dorique. Ce n’est pas très facile á trouver il n’y a aucune indication sur l’emplacement de la colonne.
(E): Start your expedition from Vence, France. Take road D2 uphill from Vence in direction "Col de Vence". Follow this magificent road until you arrive to the sign "COMMUNE DE COURSEGOULES", where you'll find a parking on the right hand side of the road. You are now on alt. 961 m!
Leave the car and follow the path - to the right (approx 200 m). You are now in a rocky moon-landscape. On the right hand side of the path you can find the remains of a column from the Roman period - in fact a Doric column. Not quite easy to find :-) and no signs showing you where the column is.
