This cache was placed under the "open Spaces" Program developed by the Texas Geocaching Association. Members of the TXGA, like myself, are trying to encurage new cachers in areas that have low cache count.
This spot has a pretty good area to pull off of the road to hunt for the cache. The traffic is usually pretty low, but please be mindful of Muggles. Remember, DON'T CROSS ANY FENCES!! Don't forget, this is Texas, so watch out for things that might scratch, poke, bite, or RATTLE!!
This cache is available for adoption! Email admin@texasgeocaching.com if you would like to adopt and maintain this cache.
Caches placed with this user account are part of the Texas Open Spaces Program. This Ground Speak approved program was created to place caches in areas of Texas that are cache-poor. The intent is to spur interest in geocaching in these areas.
Texas geocachers will help maintain this cache as a community effort, replacing logbooks, cleaning, replacing, or removing containers, etc.
