Kum is the highest mountain in the region, sometimes called "Triglav of Zasavje", and the view is on the same magnitude. On a clear day you could see neighbouring countries. At the top there is a big church surrounded by grassfields, a roomy pub and swings for children. There is also a huge antenna construction with communication going in all directions around Slovenia. Imagine what chattering it would be if you could hear all the voices, radio- and TV going out with radio waves!
The cache is hidden in the middle of all this! In warm summer days the grassfield might be very crowded. Finding and accessing the cache stealthily might be a challenge.
The hiking path starting at Mali Kum follows a route through the forest, following a legend that is explained with signs in Slovenian on some places. It is quite steep in some parts. We recommend to bring walking/skiing poles to avoid sliding or falling.
There is also a car road to the top.
The cache box is round but quite thin, so things to go inside need to be more flat than cubic-shaped.
