I had the privilege of taking my Mom out to find 8 caches and share the caching experience with her.
**KenEl Klub**
This cache is placed in memory of my Mom, just a small sampling of who she was and what were some of her favorite things.

My Mom -
Born and raised in JOHNSTOWN, New York
Spent her childhood summers at the cottage on CANADA LAKE, where she still enjoyed visiting relatives every year after adulthood
Attended and graduated from HOOD COLLEGE in Frederick, Maryland
Married on August 7, 1954, she was always found by his side, and a great listener to DAD
After getting married, lived in FAIRPORT for over 52 years
Mother to six (grandmother to sixteen), but called MOM by many
Loved camping at SUGAR CREEK in Dansville for over 40 years
Mom always baked us cookies, and let us eat the EXTRA dough off the beaters
Enjoyed belonging to Rochester Theatre Organ Society and ushering at ORGAN CONCERTS
Loved all the Muppets, especially KERMIT, with one of her favorite songs being The Rainbow Connection
FAMILY was the most important thing in her life
Loved to go SAILBOATING, canoeing and kayaking on Canada Lake
Seemed to be always sitting at the table CROSS STITCHING whenever you visited her, almost all of them being gifts for family and friends.
Collected anything Disney, including many MICKEY MOUSE trinkets, clothing and banners.
Loved to visit and tour LIGHTHOUSES, making this another item she had a vast collection of
Loved to go out FISHING for pickerel, perch and sunfish with her children and grandchildren while staying at the cottage
Gazing up into the stars, ASTROLOGY became one of her many hobbies
ICE CREAM. Need I say more?
Always had a camera with her, which was evidenced by the many, many albums of PHOTOGRAPHS she had
Active member in HOME BUREAU, making many crafts over the years, but most important, many lifetime friends
Collected Precious Moments FIGURINES
Most summers climbed KANE MT fire tower that overlooks Canada Lake
Loved TRAVELING and visited many of the scenic wonders in the US and Canada
Quite often could be seen enjoying herself at the Fairport GAZEBO concerts
Cache is a small Lock 'n Lock. This is a letterbox cache. Inside there is a rubber stamp, inkpad and logbook w/ pencil (but please bring one just in case). There is enough room for a travel bug or two, but please no trade items.
There is a lammy for the FTF'r.
