Mr. Belvedere's Geocache can be found in the Butler Sanctuary located off of Chestnut Ridge Road in Bedford, NY. You will be looking for a quart-sized Rubbermaid container with a maroon lid. Dogs are allowed but they must be leashed.
This hike in total is about 2 miles. I would recommend starting on the red trail and then taking the orange trail around to the cache. The cache is about 150 feet off of the orange trail. After finding the cache, hop back onto the orange trail and follow it until it ends at the red trail again. Make a left and follow the red trail back to where you started. Or take a right and follow the red to the yellow for a nicer, yet longer, loop through the boulder ravine.
**The cache difficulty rating will vary from cacher to cacher: The taller you are, the easier it is to reach. However, you can alternatively make use of your Spidey skills and make a diferent approach.
Be sure to find Skyway Cache (GCR0PB) and Over the Ledge (GCA8F) while hiking through the preserve.
