Geocache Description:

Mikro auf Kiefernberg is located in the Pine Mountain Open Space near the Ridgefield / Danbury boarder. The cache is a 35mm film canister.

------------------------ UPDATE 10/23/08 HUNTING: Hemlock Hills and Pine Mountain Open Spaces are closed to the public for firearms hunting from Nov 19 through Dec 23, 2008, except during the Thanksgiving weekend. The town will probably hold such a hunting season again in 2009. . Bow hunting is permitted in adjoining Bennett's Pond State Park from Sept 15, 2008, through Jan 31, 2009. During this time the park is not closed to the public, but hikers are advised to wear bright colors. ---------------- So while doing cache maintenance on Am Kiefernberg (GCQT7F), I decided to also place a micro - to try and give people more incentive for the 2.5mile round trip. This micro is about 0.9 miles from the trail-head. Follow the yellow trail...cache is within a 100 feet of the trail.

A simple 35mm film canister, not camo'ed. With a log sheet in a bagggie. No pen/pencil - bring your own.
