Geocache Description:

Join me on a tour of Tippi Hedren's big cat rescue preserve!
Reservations are a MUST. It's $40 per person, and these tours sell out, so make your reservation early.

I've been looking forward to checking this place out!

ALL GUESTS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. NO EXCEPTIONS.

PLEASE WEAR COMFORTABLE, FLAT SHOES. DO NOT WEAR SHORTS!

NO PETS ALLOWED. NO PETTING OF ANIMALS ALLOWED.

BRING A CAMERA FOR YOUR PERSONAL USE ONLY. YOU CAN VIEW THROUGH THE BARS.

SHAMBALA IS IN A HIGH-RISK FIRE AREA. THE WILD ONES ASK YOU TO PLEASE NOT SMOKE.

The coordinates are approximate, but should put you close to the entrance. The Shambala Preserve is located north of Los Angeles, in Acton, California. Take I-5 north from the Los Angeles basin to the Antelope Valley Freeway (14). Exit the (14) at Soledad Canyon Road. Turn right onto Soledad Canyon Rd. and drive 9.2 miles to 6867 Soledad Canyon. Rd. The preserve, and parking, is on the left at the bottom of the hill.

The safari begins at noon and lasts for about three hours. Each of us is responsible for our own reservations.
