The terrain is a little rough and will be damp in the spring for
sure.
At one time beaver populations had gotten very low but over the
last few years they have slowly increased as evidenced by the
growing nuber of beaver ponds appearing. At this site, there has
been a battle between the Beavers and man. The beavers dam up the
entrance to a culvert type bridge and create their Pond and then
someone tears out the dam and drains the pond. This had been going
on for years but I guess either the beavers got tired of rebuilding
or someone trapped the family outa existance.
