Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal
(located at the north end of Liberty State Park and Audrey Zapp Drive, directly on the North (Hudson) and East Rivers in New York Harbor. Ferries leave from the front of the terminal, taking visitors to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.)

This location is on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as the State Register of Historic Places - the architecture is as beautiful as the history behind it all. For nearly one-and-a-half centuries, this place has been the starting point on the roadmap of countless Americans - some new and some old. It's estimated that between 1890 and 1915, from 9 to 12 million immigrants passed through Ellis Island and entered the country via this very terminal.
